Visual identity, logo and website for »Alphabet des Ankommens« (»Alphabet of Arrival«), a project by Deutscher Comicverein e.V. (German Comics Association), funded by Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung (Federal Agency for Civic Education)

»Alphabet des Ankommens« combines journalism with comics to address the topics of emigration and immigration differently. A as in Asylum, B as in Berlin or C as in Culture—journalists and comic artists from ten different countries report on how migration influences people and nations around the globe. All comic reportages were produced during a workshop that took place in Hamburg from March 6 to 12, 2017. The results are presented on a website and an accompanying print publication (available through bpb).
